TASC Services Overview for All of New York
In keeping with the TASC National Model and NYS Standards for TASC programs
- Balancing treatment and accountability for offenders in need of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health treatment to reduce recidivism and promote community safety
- Administering an objective and comprehensive evaluation
- Providing an independent level of care recommendation (matching the appropriate treatment dosage)
- Identifying and resolving barriers to treatment
- Filling gaps with wrap around services
- Serving as a vehicle for coordinating decision-making and intervention strategies for justice and treatment providers during the entire continuum of care
- Continuing case management support until the underlying criminal justice matter…matter is resolved
Additionally, we seek to assist community-based providers in:
- Navigating criminal justice systems and providing support working with justice-involved populations
- Determining policies and procedures regarding the delivery of services for justice-involved individuals in need of treatment
- Facilitating and encouraging collaboration across individualized treatment systems
